Kaleidoscope
Students: Vanessa Heuer, Theodora Sutanto, Megan Williams Artist Inspiration: Missoni I sat silent and in complete despair. Who was this person looking back at me? Through this reflection, it became obvious that life as I knew it was no life at all. Desperately, I search my hollow eyes for the vibrant person I once knew. Awakening, reaching beyond the intricately woven layers of hopelessness and despair, I discover an inner light. It was as if I was looking in a kaleidoscope. The chaos of shattered pieces transformed into a colorful artistic expression of unity and strength. This strength came from those who believed in me. I was then able to discover my vitality and true self. |
