Ripples of Emotion

Inspiration Artist: Rabi Khan

Student artists: Alexandra Ayres and Kelly Robinson

Khan expresses emotions in his art by looking at the relationship between oil and water. When comparing oil and water to domestic violence, a similar rippling effect takes place. One little thing can escalate into a sequence of events, where people may love each other but do not mix. Our chair represents the three stages of domestic violence and how the ripples can stop when a victim chooses to leave. The FAC is there to support the victim during this time, helping them realize through all the turmoil there is still hope for a new beginning.
