Inspiration Artist: The DADA Movement

Student artists: Sally Azer and Alexandra Laura Zygas

Everyone one of us has hopes and dreams, often dictated by society. Sometimes we hold on so much that we refuse to see the ugly. This is a distorted reality. All domestic violence situations are different, yet similar in that victims have a distorted sense of normalcy. The FAC's mission is to heal victims through exposure of the ugly, much like the DADA movement strived to provoke the public by exposing a society that spawned the atrocities of WWI. Our paper chair symbolizes a distorted reality: if you try to settle in, it will crumble beneath you.
