Domestic violence imprisons its victims through many forms; it is as ambiguous as the art that seeks to entrap the body and bind it. Providing the victim with the ability to free themselves, the FAC acts as the shared mind of the art, bridging the gap between the past and the freedom that lies ahead. This freedom breaks through the boundaries of confinement, allowing for a rebirth of oneself. The attachment to the former self, however, is always visible, as the strength for the future builds off the struggles of the past.
